Questi primi giorni del 2018 possono essere sintetizzati così:

• Ho sviluppato una dipendenza da Bubble tea, credo irreversibile
• Ho mangiato qualsiasi cosa contenesse tè matcha
• Continua a fare un freddo indecente e a nevicare. Le temperature sono talmente basse che si può tenere la roba in giardino piuttosto che in freezer (true story di quando è andata via la luce per diverse ore)
• Una mia alunna dell’asilo mi ha detto che sono Beautiful ❤
• Sono riuscita a chiedere le ferie alla direttrice della scuola che non parla una parola d’inglese senza usare quasi per niente il traduttore sul cellulare
• Ciononostante, il mio cinese continua ad essere pessimo
• Tra due settimane visiterò Pechino (tanti, ma tanti cuori)

Per ora, dal Polo Nord è tutto.

Random things

These first days of 2018 can be summarized like this:

• I developed a serious addiction to Bubble tea, irreversible, I believe
• I’ve eaten anything made with matcha tea
• It’s still incredibly cold and it keeps snowing. Temperatures are so low that you can put food outside instead than in the freezer compartment (true story really happened when there was a blackout for several hours)
• One of my kindergarten students called me Beautiful ❤
• I managed to successfully ask for leaves to the school’s headmistress who does not know a single word in English (and with very little help from Google translate)
• My Chinese still sucks
• I booked plane tickets to Beijing and it feels soooo good
